WORKING UP THE HUNS TO BATTLE FRENZY.
ROTTERDAM. February IS. The military critic of the (ierman newspaper "Vossiache Zcitung," boasting of the German strength on the western front, save:—The German advance was stopped on the Marne by Russian intervention, not by France. The fearful events of the past three and a-half years will only prove a tremendous intermezzo between the early.events and still, greater events before us. The present situation raises tremendous confidence in German hearts. This confidence concentrates upon the Hindenburg line. General Ludcndorff asks, "Who will dare to measure his strength with this army?"—(A. snd N.Z.)
