BRITISH NAVY WATCHING VIGILANTLY FOR NAVAL ATTEMPT
(Received 12.15 p.m.) NEW YORK, February 15. The New York "World's" Paris correspondent states:—There is every indication that we arc on the eve of a great German offensive on the \\ est front. (Received 11.30 a.m.) PARIS, February 15. SI. "Marcel Hutin, discussing the possibility of a German naval attempt to land on the coast of the I'as de Calais in conjunction with their big offensive, states that the British Kavy is vigilantly watching the sea front, and ardently desired such an attempt.— (A. and X.Z.
