The engagement is announced of Miss Laura Vauee, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Vause, Onehunga, to Mr. Noel G. L. Ereon, second son of the late Dr. and Mrs Erson. of Auckland.

The marriage is announced of Mr. J. L. Hay, V.M.C.A. Secretary, N.Z. Division, to Miss D. Gunn, N.Z.A.N.S., of Christcliurch (N.Z.).

Mr and Mrs Houghton have returned to Auckland after a visit to Hawke's Bay.
