ENGINEERS AND MAN-POWER BILL. LONDON, January 14. . A conference of the. Clyde committees! of the engineering and shipbuilding federation met at Glasgow and considered the , new man-power. proposals. The conference resolved to instruct the executive council to request the Government to withdraw the new Man-power Bill before January. Failing this they would ask tlie Clyde members of the federation to "down tools." The conference also ask*d the Government to call an international conference to discuss peace.— l . (A. and X.Z.
