YOUNG MAN DROWNED.

FATALITY AT RIVERHEAD. BODY RECOVERED. The police have received word of the ■rrowning of a young man named Harry Grice in the river at Riverhead this morning. He arrived in the district from Auckland yesterday to commence work at the paper mills. Only scant details of the occurrence axe available. It is understood that Grice went in bathing in company with a boy friend. The body was recovered shortly after the accident. An inquest will be held at the paper mills. Deceased was 16 years of age. It is understood that Grice's parents reside in Haslett Street, Eden Terrace.
