The Farmers' Auctioneering Company held their usual fortnightly stock sale nt Ulkntaia yesterday. There was a fair yarding. Fat beet sold well, but store cattle were a bit easier than usual. Tilts j pricos were as follows:—Fat cows from I £11 ")/ to £18 8/, fresh conditioned cows £!' 10/ to flO 15/. store cows £7 17/tf to £8 15/, eighteen-nionths to two-year-olii steers, up to £0 10/. weaners, calves from £2 14/ to £8; calves 32/6 to £2 r>/, heavy bulls OJgns. to 12Agns, dairy cows £10 to £12 10/. dairy heifers £8 7/C to £10 IV. fat ewes to 55/, fat lambs 24/ to 33/; pigs (weaners) 10/ to 15/, porkers 34/ to 38/. Most ot the fat. cattle were bought by buyers representing Messrs. Sims, Cooper and Co., and W. and It. Fletcher.
