GASOLINE EXPLOSION
ON COASTAL TTESSEL. A LEAKING CASK Telegraph.— Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. An explosion of gasoline vapour occurred aboard the coaster Echo at port this morning. The ship was undamaged. jAmong the cargo for Wairoa was a leakIng case of gasoline. It is presumed the spirit got into the bilge, and was ignited fey a light in the engine room.
