TREATMENT OF RESERVISTS.

COMPLAINT AGAINST BOARDS. ROYAL COMMISSION WANTED. (By Telegraph.—Fress Association.) CHRISTCHURCIT, this day. Dr. Thacker has addressed a letter te the Premier asking the Government to set up a Royal Commission to take evidence as to the methods of the medical boards in their examinations of reservjete and the medical treatment of soldiers in camp and on leave, and treatment of the men when given extended, leave without pay. He says it is abso" lutely impossible the way reservists are -being sent into camp, retained' a few days, and then given extended leave •without pay. These men are still uncertain as to their military future. This is also an enormous waste of public money. Mr. Massey saye the matter is one for the consideration of Cabinet.
