HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. (By "Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The High Commissioner's market report, dated London, December 15, is as follows, quotations, unless otherwise specified, being average market prices on spot:— Meat. —All descriptions of meat continue In active demand, and are selling at maxi. mum prices owing to continued small supplies. New Zealand frozen meat, no supplies available. Argentine mutton and lamb, small supplies. Hid. Argentine beef, small supply of chilled: Hinds, ll§d; fores, Butter.—The market remains as last re ported. Danish and Irish creamery ana Dutch, no supplies ■ available. French, limited supply at 256/S; all others under Government control at 252/, The Inclusion of French butter in the Government pool is anticipated shortly. Cheese.—Small supply of English Cheddar, 142/; all others at Government price. Hemp. —Manila and New Zealand, little business being done, the market continues firm. Manila stocks at the end, of Nove_. fcer totalled iI.OSS bales, against 55,656 last year. business owing to scarcity of offers. Oats. —Market very quiet, prices unchanged.
