EVIDENCE OF APPROACHING FAMINE IN RUSSIA.
(Received 9.45 a.m.) NEW YORE; December 17. The United Press Association's Tokyo correspondent reports that conditions in Russia are becoming intoleralK There is increasing evidence of approaching famine. The American Ambassador, Mr D. R, Francis, has advised all Americans to leave Petrograd, and 187 are now awaiting passage vit the Siberian railway.—(A. and N_. Cable.)
