NATIONALIST IRELAND.
A SIWW FEIW SPEECH. LONDON , , December 12. The Sinn Fein leader, de Valera, in a remarkable speech in County Cork, said Nationalist Ireland, whether desiring separation from, or inclusion in, the Empire, ought to march shoulder to ehouldcr. Neither party should doubt the other's motives. It is generally believed that the speech signifies that the Sinn Feiners are anxious to pave the way to an under-, standing if a> satisfactory settlement is offered to Ireland. — (A. and N.Z.)
