Germany could not agree to evacuate the islands in the Gulf of Riga or to ■withdraw troops from the eastern front fox six months, ■which Russia demanded. However, after further discussion an agreement was reached except on the question of the evacuation of the islands, ■which, the Germans said, admitted of no discussion. The statement concludes! "Tn the armistice for ten days, which was finally agrered upon, we see a good engury for the future." The Revolutionary Committee has invited the people to hold a demon* Btration to-morrow -with inflammatory watchwords. The outlook is moat ominous. The newspaper "Frioza" announces a collision between Maximalists and 4000 troops under Korniloff.—(Reuter.) The Bolshevik army delegates have returned from the fronts. They report 4hat all the soldiers complained that they wanted eight months' peace and believed they had been betrayed. They say they will wait no longer, but ■will rely on themselves. Kampeff, one of the delegates, stated that a long armistice was intended. The Bolsheviks were aware of the enemy's aims, but would retaliate 0:1 the weakest spot. A million leaflets will be supplied to German soldiers assuring them of moral support in the event of revolutionary outbreaks. —(United Service.) The Bolsheviks have issued an appeal addressed to the Cossacks. It says: "It depends on you whether the blood of brethren be shed. We hold out our hands to you and urge you to unite with all the people against their declared enemies, Kaledin, Korniloff, Dutoff, and Karavloff."
