The opening of the Takapuna bowling green took place on Saturday. Mr W. K. Perm. president, after welcoming the visitors, deilared tbe green open for play. Although rain fell in ton i shortly after one o'clock, there was practically none at Takapuna. and bowlers were able to play richt through the afternoon.
