MAJOR-GENERAL SALMOND. LONDON, October 14. The War Office announces that MajorGeneral J. M. Salmon, D.5.0., has been appointed Director-General of Military Aeronautics in succession to MajorGeneral Sir David Henderson, who is undertaking special work, after having held that office since 1913.— (A. and N.Z. and Reuter.)
