HINDENBURG'S THREATS.

ENGLAND MUST PERISH. AMSTERDAM, October 12. General Hindenburg, replying to the German National Chamber of Commerce, said: "England's envy has closed the door of international commerce. She shall feel the sharpness of our sword until she perishes." Admiral yon Scheer, replying to the Stendal Peace Committee, said: "Your confidence inspires the t'-boat men. We will ensure that the British will never again dare to pick a quarrel with us." Baron yon Hertling (Premier of Bavaria), speaking in the Bavarian Diet, declared that the British were hardhearted, calculating business men, but they were also beginning to doubt whether the war was a paving businese.
