ENEMY REOCCUPY CAPTURED VILLAGE.

LONDON. July 27. General Sir Douglas Haig reports:—During local fighting in the neighbourhood of La Basseeville and south-westward of Warneton, we drove the enemy from the village. The enemy counter-attacked in the morning, and ■we withdrew from the village.

At night we successfully raided the neighbourhood of Monchy, southwestward of La Bassee and north-east of Ypres. A German re id yesterday morning north-eastward of Govleaucourt led to sharp fighting and considerable enemy loss.—r.\. and X.Z. and Keutcr.)
