TAKING NO CHANCES.
(Received 2.-10 p.m.) ATHENS, July 2. Forty army and navy officers identified as supporters of the old regime have been arrested as a preventive measure. It has been elicited that the ex-Premier (M. Zaimis) allowed ex-King Constantino and the Crown Prince to evade signing the act of abdication. M. Venizelos says that the National Assembly will rectify the omission.— ,("Times."')
