FOOD RIOTS IN GERMANY.
(Received 2.50 p.m.) LONDON, July 2. A semi-official message says that women and youths pillaged food shops in Dusseldorf. Many aliens, including Belgians and Russians, were arrested for participating. Several rioters were sourt-martialled and sentenced to six > ears' penal servitude.— (A. and N.Z.)
