INDUCTION AT PAPAKURA.
— — ■ On Wednesday last a service was held in tile Presbyterian Church for the induction of the Jlev. F. 11. Hales as pastor of the local charge. The .Revs. C. (Porter (Moderator), W. Shaw (Mount Eden), and IM1I):U' took part m the service. -In tne evenh 'V' -v£ii j meeting was hekl in the Methodist H to welcome the new minister. The r i. C. i l'orter presided. an<l short speeches of wel- | come were del-.verec by the Uev. Wtxxl I (Anglican) and E. K. Jones (Methodist), also Iby Mr. E. D. McT.ennan ou behalf of the 1 Presbyterian congregation. .Several imis-'c cal items were rendered during the evculut.
