MARRIED MAN KILLED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Monday. A fatality occurred on the Oakley section of the Main Trunk railway this morning, when Reuben Hunter Radeliffe, a married man. aged about 55, engaged as acting-fireman on a ballast engine, working at Tauraroa quarry, was caught between two trucks. His work was to link up the trucks and attend to the brakes, but. owing to some complication in the operation, he was caught between two trucks and sustained injuries to which he succumbed later. WHANGAREI, this day. An inquest was held to-day on the body of Reuben Hunter Radelilfe. aged 55. A verdict was returned that deceased came to his death through injuries accidentally sustained til rough being crushed lwtwcen the buffers of two trucks, one of which he was trying to stop after uncoupling it.
