USELESS PASSPORTS.

SEAMEN HOLD UP PACIFISTS. LONDON, June 11. A meeting was held in Trafalgar Square to protest against the proposed visit of Mr Ramsay Mac Donald to Petrograd. A telegram was read from a branch of the Seamen's and "Fircmeri's Union, stating that it had Mr Mac Donald and Mr Jowett prisoners, and that the crew refused to sail with them. The meeting unanimously passed a resolution deploring the issue of passports to Messrs. Mac Donald and Jowett, and repudiating the claim that they represent British Labour, and requesting Mr Lloyd George to cancel the paasports. (Reuter.)
