REPORTED SINKING OF ATLANTIC RAIDER.

BRITISH CRUISER'S CONTEST WITH SUBMARINE. [Reuters Telegrams.] RIO DE JANEIRO, February 11. There are persistent reports that the German raider has been sunk after an engagement with a British squadron. Reports from Pernambuco, Brazil, state that a British cruiser, which had been searching for the raider, has arrived for repairs after repelling an attack by a submarine. The extent of the damage is not known, but the cruiser bears no marks of an engagement.
