1 SUCCESSFTTC. GATHERING AT WAIWEBA. (ALL ROUND RECORDS. SHEEP GET THE RED RIBBON. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)] WAIWERA, thw day. The twelfth annual show organised by the Waitemata A and P. Association is being iheld at Waiwera to-day. There is a big attendance, although the recent heavy rains have made the roads a proposition that only these sturdy producing folks would care to Cackle. The show ie an affair that attracts visitors from as far north as Welbford, Matakana, and Warkworth, and as far south as Pukekohe. The weather wae fine for the greater port of the day. Particularly good entries are recorded in the cheep exhibits. The judges are of the opinion that all classes are fit to compete at any chow, the Lincolns coming in for special commendation. Mr. M. Schedewy's champion ram got the red ribbon. The cattle exhibits chow a marked improvement on previous years, while the horses, although few in number, are excellent in quality. The tent exhibits have been seriously affected by the difficulties of transport, many exhibitors having been unable to get through where the roads have been destroyed by floods. The catalogue inclndes classes for every form of farm produce, and does not stop short at giving the farmers an opportunity to Show the fruit of their labours, but provides competitions for the skill of the womenfolk.
