In tbe Senate, Mr Ferricks gave notice of a motion repudiating any decision made by the Imperial Conference on Australia's behalf that is not endorsed by the Australian representa- : tive. Mr Higgs urged that the House should discuss the proposals submitted by the Imperial Conference. He thought that one condition of peace should be that the Kaiser be deposed. He also advo- • cated the formation by the Allies of i an army and navy to police the world.
