1.30 p.m.) LOXDOX, January 7. A Russian official message says:—"ln the fighting we took prisoner 500. "We surprised and captured trenches in the Oituz,. Vallfey. We retired north-west of Focsaui in an easterly direction. The Rumanians restored their positions" at Kapatunit, in the same urea, and threw back a dense attack. South-west of Focsani we took the offensive and reached the line of Raspitza Lake."
