" During the month of September the Talisman Consolidated crushed and treated 1550 tons of ore for a yield of bullion valued at £8949 14/10. The costs for the past month totalled 65/5, made up as follows: Mine development, I9A; mining, 23/1; milling, 16/11; general expenses, 5/7. The following cable has been sent to London: "No. IG, north drive, progress 25ft, reef 27in wide, value 18/; south drive, progress 14ft, reef 18in wide, value 22/; crosscutting west from the south drive, progress Bft."
