CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL
A meeting of the executive of the Dramatic and Vaudeville Association, which was organised for the purpose of collecting , funds to help to erect a memorial hospital to fallen soldiers, took place last evening. The work is being systematically organised, and with the help of prominent workers bids fair to be a very big suecees. The allocation of the stalls fu considered, and it was arranged that the theatTe etall should be outside His Majesty's, and the Girls' Realm etall in Customs Street. The St. John Ambulance, which will conduct two stalls, have taken up the corners of Wellesley Street. The Ferry Buildings will ' ? in charge of the Women's National Reserve, and in Shortland Street Mrs. Victor Casey will have a stall. The Civil Servants will erect a{ stall outside the Post Office, while Mrs. JIcColI will control Khyber Pass and Xewmarket, So far, the stalls of the Navy League, Civic League, and Remuera Alutual Aid Society have not been arranged, but will be when advice has been received from these bodies as to their wishes. A great nlany valuable articles in silverware and other kinds of have been given to the ladies who arc collecting for the stalls, and everything points to a large sum of money being iajsecl !p$ gjjs deserving object.
