"THOU SHALT NOT TATTLE." Tea commandments for the dally guidance of young women hare been propounded by the Rev. A. W. Wllllver, pastor of the Lafayette Methodist Episcopal Church of Jersey City. He has put a ban upon deceit, Immodesty, the "whirlpool ot fashion," and the "limber tongue of. the flatterer." These arc his commandments:— "I. Thou shnlt not delude thy mother. "2. Thon Shalt not surrender thy modesty for the favour of unprincipled men. "3. Thou shalt not run. wild and fall into the whirlpool of fashion and plunge thy family into the hopper of the nerve L'rindiiiE mill. . "4. Thou shalt not allow the limber tongue of the flatterer to bewilder thy bead and master thy strength. "5. Thftu ehalt not tattle. "6. Thon shalt not let frivolity of speech or manner unclothe thee of thy attractiveness and personal chnrm. "7. Thou shalt not think more of the clothing of thy feet than of the culture of thy head. "8. Thou Shalt not smoke; tbou sbnlt not tamper with the liquor cup. "0. Thou shalt not be slothfu 1 while others In the home toll. "10. Thou ehalt feel real happiness mul truthfulness, hopefulness, Joyfulness mul pencefulness In serving others In tbc spirit .of the Great Master."
