On the way he found two unwounded Germane hiding in a ehell hole and brought them in as prisoners with the help of his revolver. It has now been proved that the German machine-gunners are tied to their guns. One was discovered fastened by straps on his insteps to staples drrren into the ground. A chain round hi* waiet fastened him to the gun.
