COMMANDEERED WOOL.
FAR-REACHING SCHEME. TO FEED BRITISH TRADE. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, July 4. The Government's decision to commandeer the English wool clip $as a more far-reaching object flian the eafeguarding of the British and Allies' military requirements. It is part of a wider Bcbeme of assuring an adequate supply of wool for home industries after the war. It is hoped that the Dominions will limit, temporarily at least, their'exports to neutral countries, especially as the entire Engiieh clip is required for the coming year's needs.
