HARDY NIGHT MARCH. 48 HOURS WITHOUT REST. LONDON, March 22. The official British' war correspondent (Mr. Candlor) reports that, three columns made a night march on the'Bth inst., and attacked, the Dujilah redoubt, south-east of the Turkish position at Es Sinn, seven miles south of- Kut-el-Amara. The enemy was completely surprised when our artillery opened fire at dawn. A series of attacks was delivered during the day, but the position"was'Leld with great strength. The columns therefore returned to the main camp.without molestation. The operations were carried out in waterless country, and the troops were heavily laden with entrenching tools and extra ammunition. Despite this fact they marched.-and fought for forty-eight hours without rest, - displaying the highest courage, tenacity, and endurance.
