UNREST IN FIJI.
RIDICULED FROM SUVA. LIBEL ON THE ISLANDERS. SYDNEY, March 10. The Sydney "Daily Telegraph's" Suva correspondent is inclined to ridicule the reports which have appeared in the Australian Press regarding the alleged native unrest in Fiji. The correspondent says that without making certain allowances for native Character, the alleged incidents may seem serious enough; but, because of these, to say that the island is disaffected and antagonistic to British rule, is to libel an honourable and loyal race.
