The "Times" correspondent at Washington states that the 5,000 men comprising the American punitive expedition have crossed the border. It is recognised that tnis is an adequate force wherewith to hunt Villa, but it is considered to be inadequate to cope with a combination of Villa and Carranza, the President of Mexico.
