ST. PATRICK'S DAY.

TO-MORROW'S CELEBRATIONS. St. Patrick's Day will be celebrated to-morrow by the pupils of the city and suburban Roman Catholic schools with a big procession and fete. The children will leave St. Patrick's at 10.30 ajn., and will march to tha Domain, by way of Albert Street, Quaj Street, Queen Street, Upper Quee.i Street, Karangahape Koad, and Grafton Bridge. The procession will oe accompanied by a number of bands, and several parishes intend to provide tableaux of a national character, mounted on wagons. On the arrival of tne children at the Domain mass will be celebrated in the open air at an altar erected in front ot the pavilion, the celebrant being Moneignor Haekett, of Paeroa. Lunch will be provided for the children in tents furnished by their respective parishes, and in the afternoon a programme of sports for children only will be gone through. There will be 28 events in all, including two —a championship and a relay race —open to children from the public schook. At 3.20 p.m. an appropriate address to tbe children will be delivered by Moneignor Haekett. after which a massed display will be given by 2,000 children, who Will form a Celtic cro&s. This is expected to occupy about an hour. More refreshments will be provided before the little folk are dismissed. In the evening an Irieh national concert, with illustrated songs and moving pictures, will be heli in the Town Hall. A rehearsal of the children's display takes place this afternoon.
