'"; LONDON, March 14./ The "Times" correspondent at Toronto says-thVtat a recruiting meeting Lord; Shaughjeesy opposed the raising of a new Canadian army of 50,000 men, on the ground that it would mean an undue interference with agricultural, industrial, and financial affaire. Mr; Hughea (Minister of Defense) vigorously- dissented.- • - - Another speater," -who proposed •an anti-recruiting resolution, was greeted with hisses, and the chairman ruled that the motion could not be moved. _ 1
