V. Lcgh, struck mines on the East Coast and sank. The casualties on the Coquette were one officer and twenty-one men, and on torpedo-boat No. 11 three officers and twenty men. The High Commissioner's telegram is confirmed by a Press Association cablegram. NORTH SEA FXJXL O? GEBMAN MUTES. (Received 10.30 ajn.) LOXDOX. March 10. A Copenhagen message states that a Norwegian captain reports that the Korth Sea is full of German mines. The Destroyer Coquette -was a tiny craft of 335 tons, her speed being 30.3 knots. She was built in 1900, her engines being of 5,700 h-p. She carried 60 men. and had a coal capacity of 80 tons. She carried five 6-pr. guns and two ISm torpedo tubes. There are eight vessels in this class. Torpedo-boat No. 11 was built at Yarrow in 1906. She was of 225 tons, being 132 ft long by 18ft wide and sft 4in draft. She carried two 12-pr. guns and three ISm tubes. She had 3,750h-p engines, developing a speed of 20 knots.
