MEETING OF CLAIMS BOARD. A meeting- of the Claims Board of the Auckland Patriotic Association was held this morning. The Mayor (Mr J. H. Gunson) presided, and. associated with him were Messrs V. J. Lamer, E. Phelan, and F- J- £wen. Some nine cases were dealt with, and two were deferred for report.s and further consideration. A meeting of the executive will take place at 2 p.m. to-morrow, when matters of considerable importance will be discussed. DDNEDIX TO BE REPRESENTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDDf, this day. The Patriotic Executive to-day discussed the matter of the conference to be held in Wellington on the 17th mat regarding patriotic funds, md resolved that the question be referred to the Soldiers and Dependenta' Welfare Committee, with instructions to make arrangements to be represented at the conference.
