BRILLIANT RED LIGHTS POINT CUT THE ROUTE.
(Times and Sydney Sun Services.)
(Received 5.20 ajn.)
LO?OX»~, February 3. Paris advices state that during the Zeppelin raids brilliant red lights pointed out the route.
The Press demands a rigorous search for the treacherous signallers.
The "Evening News" makes the comment that the Salonika raid is fresh proof of extraordinary Zeppelin activity. It is computed that Germany has ten airships capable of long-distance raids. Six or seven were concerned in the raid on England, one was reported as flying to Paris, and now we hear , of an eighth or ninth at Salonika. It may be that the Zeppelin made a dramatic journey from Sofia.
