FALL DOWN STAIRCASE.
ELDERLY MAX'S DEATH
A man named James Joseph O'Douovaxi was admitted to the Auckland Hospital to-day from his residence at Scotia Place. At an early houT this morning he fell down a Sta-ircase, and injured his head. lie died at about noon to-day. He "waa a journalist, 63 years of age, and was a -widower. An inquest is to be held.
