A DANGER AT SHELLY BEACH.

(To the Editor.) , Sir,—l want to draw attention to a etate of affairs which is becoming a eerious menace to bathere at Shelly Beach, Ponspnby. On Sunday last the writer of this letter received a severe blow on the eide of the head, to the accompaniment of derisive lauglie from the oecuj>ante of a boat, and on another occasion lady was run down and suffered a severe shock.
