WAR PENSIONS.
WEAKLY 500 GRANTED. ANNUAL CHARGE OF £22,165. (By Telejrrapb—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Wednesday. Four hundred and ninety-one pensions representing an annual charge of £22,165, have been granted to date by the War Pensions BoaTd, also 98 allowances for fixed periods, involving an additional payment of £2,632. At a meeting this week the board dealt with 41 case. 20 being claims from soldiers and 21 from dependents of soldiers. Eleven were granted pensions totalling £527 per annum, seven received allowances for fixed periods, totalling £256. and two applications were adjourned. TNvntty of the dependents were granted pensions totalling ! £714 per annum, the other application j being declined.
