YON PAPEN'S PAPERS.
THE BRITISH SEIZURE. A GERMAN PROTEST. LONDON, January 19. A Berlin wireless message states that the letters and bank accounts of Captain yon Papen, late German attache to the United States, who was granted a safe conduct to Germany by Britain, were seized in violation of the diplomatic safe conduct accorded him. The papers were of a purely personal character. The message denies that Captain yon Papen paid out moneys for attempts against munitions plants and bridges.
