OCCIDENTAL CONSOLIDATED. The manager of the Occidental Consolidated Company telegraphed:—"Cut reef west of the shaft, No. 6 level; strong body of ore; not yet broken through." WAUU GRAND JUNCTION. Tho followln**: cablegram was sent to the head office. London, on January 18:—"Are crushing 440 tons per 24 hours: the extraction Is 83/ per ton. No. 7 level, Empire lode, east drive, advanced to 975 ft; low grade ore. Crosscut at 400 ft (north branch reef): Driven to the west 102 ft The averaßc width Is Oft: the average value Is £4 17/6. Crosscut at 80ft: Present width Is oft, value _ 38/6. Crosscut. at 570 ft (north branch recfl: Driven to the west | 67tt; average width Is Sift: average .value,i£3 8/3. No. 6 level. Empire lode: iWinze No, 4A on tbe Central lode has been sunk to a depth of 26ft; average width" Is 3ft; average value" Is £13 14/10." . . * . • MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. New Wititala.—lu the north drive 'intermediate level the reef i»how9 15 inches of fair grade ore. In- the south of No. 3 rise the reef Is being taken down, and proves to be nine Inches lv width in the back, nnd 15 Inches at the bottom of the stopc. The ore is of payable quality.
