(By Telegraph— i Press Association.) WELLINGTON, thia day. The Nurserymen's Conference to-day discussed the question of the number of varieties of apples advisable for use fo* export purposes. Mr. Campbell, of the Department 1 of Agriculture, said the Department had made a list of fifteen varieties suitable in both i^lanis. Mr. Kirk said the list -would be published shortly in the Department's Journal. Mr. Freen moved: "That there be a meeting of representatives of the Fruitgrowers' Conference and orchard instructors at the end of the Nurserymen's Association's Copference to consider the matter." The motion wae carried. The selection of a committee ie to be left to the executive.
