MEETINGS.
SAILORS' CH'RtSTMAS FESTIVITIES. A very enjoyable time was spent at Nortbcote on Christmas night, when the few sailors who were in port, comprisljig some of the crew of the barque Senortta, and officers and engineers of s.e. Opma, attended a short Christmas service, followed by high supper and concert, at Tarry's 'Hall, North-cote. The mlsslonex for the Flying Angel Missions to Sea- j men was M.C.. and Mrs lArthnr Cowie was in charge of all the good things, Including presents for the men. Those who kindly assisted at the Impromptu concert were Misses White and Winnie Gtbson, pianoforte solo and songs; snd Messrs. White and Adams, songs; also Mr. Case, Items on jihonograph.
