THE PROHIBITED BOTTLE.
A RAID IN WAIHI. (By Telegraph—Own Correspondent.) . WAIIII, this day. During the last few days tho police under the direction of Senior-Sergeant Wohunann have been very active in connection with alleged sly grog selling, the premises of A. Ekland (Soddon Avenue), J. Tuouhy (Consols Street) and J. B. Hicks, jun., hairdresser (Roscmont Road) being visited under search warrant. A quantity of liquor was seized and it is understood that prosecutions will eventuate.
