ATTEMPTED SUICIDE CHARGE. LONDON, November 23. The authoress Miss Annesley Keneil.y. who swallowed poison in Court last wee* after being informed by the judge .that she had no case in her action against the bookselling firm of Smith and Soil for placing her novel on the library ui&ek list, has been remanded on a charge of attempting to commit suicide. She-ex-plained that for five years she had suffered from slanders prejudicial to her books. She had no course left except to drown or poison herself. 77 " ; j
