■» • Mr. F. V. Frazer, S.M., presided over the Onehunga Police Court to-day. Alfred Harris was ordered to pay 15/ per week towards the maintenance of his wife. On a charge of procuring liquor while prohibited defendant was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. Thomas Child, who did not appear, was convicted and fined £1 with costs, "/. or in default seven days, for a breach of his prohibition order. J. R. Thomas was, fined 5/ and 7/ costs for riding his motor cycle on the footpath in the Jit. Roskill district. W. McHugh was ordered to pay to the Borough Council £2 8/S for rates overdue. Edward A. Walton was also ordered to pay to the Borough Council £1 7/1 for overdue rates. \ ____________
