James Allen, arrived here from Wellinfjton yesterday. He expresses the opinion that the coming session will be very short, and of not moTe than six or eight weeks' dunatior. Only absolutely necessary legis-la-tion will he introduced, such as pensions and other niattere arising out of the war.
