I The mail steamer Snorstrti, bound from Gottenborg to England, was captured and conveyed to >Swineinundc, a Prussian seaport in the Baltic. I The British steamer Arndalc, conlladcn to Archangel, was mined southward of Capt Orlnv, at the ciitiance to the White Sea. Three of tlic crew were I drowned. Mnny mines have been seen at the entrance to the White fc*a. (Received 11.5 a.m.) LONDON. June 17. The British steamer Strathnairn, of 4,330 tons, which was bound from Cardiff to Archangel, on the north coast of Russia, with coal, wne torpedoed, without warning, off tho South Bishop Rock, Enles. The second mate anil ten of the Chines* crew landed at Milford Haven. It is feared that the captain and 22 of the crew have. l>een drowned. The Petrel, Explorer, and .laponica, trawlers, belonging to Aberdeen, have been sunk by submarines. The Danish steamer Kokoe, timber laden, and bound for Lcith, was torpedoed by a submarine in the North Sea. The crew were saved. A submarine torpedoed the Booth steamer Trafford off the coast of Pembrokeshire. Tho Trafford sank. The crew were saved.
